Stamp Duty Holiday Key Dates – Budget for your Purchase

Please be aware and budget so that if completion does not take place on or before 30 June 2021, you will have to pay stamp duty on the amount in excess of £250,000.00.
For example, if you are purchasing a house for £255,000.00 you will pay the tax on £5,000.00 for stamp duty.
If you are a first-time buyer, you will not pay any stamp duty for purchases under £300,000.00.
30 September 2021
On 30 September 2021 unless you are a first-time buyer you will have to pay stamp duty on the same rates as you would have paid prior to the introduction of the stamp duty holiday.
