Help to Buy – New Equity Loan Scheme
This will run from 1 April 2021 for first-time buyers only of new build properties.
First-time homebuyers who are eligible for an equity loan can borrow up to 20% (40% in London) of the purchase price of a new build home. Your home builder will let you know if they are registered for the scheme before you apply.
The amount of the purchase price will depend on where the property is.
