Our Private Client Department manage a number of mainly Will Trusts and deal with the day to day issues which occur such as:

  • Preparation of annual Trust Accounts
  • Assessing the Inheritance Tax implications of a trust
  • Liaising with accountants in connection with Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax issues relating to trusts and ensuring that annual Income Tax Returns are completed
  • Liaising with other professionals including stockbrokers and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) in order that trust assets are regularly reviewed in accordance with trustees’ obligations
  • Liaising with land, property and estate agents as necessary where a trust includes land and property as part of its assets
  • Advising trustees in connection with trusts generally
  • Liaising between trustees and beneficiaries in connection with beneficiaries’ entitlements under a trust
