After completing a Law Degree, Elaine worked as a Housing Advisor in London before deciding to return to the law.
She qualified as a Barrister in 1990 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992,working for a London firm on civil, criminal and family cases before moving to Suffolk.
She joined Kerseys in September 2007 and was made Partner in August 2011.
In 2017 Elaine was appointed to the Law Society’s National Children Law sub-committee.
Elaine specialises in family work and is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. She is a member of Resolution and strongly supports the Code of Practice, which encourages family lawyers working towards resolving disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational way.

- Domestic Violence Injunctions
